Event Description:
Announcing the upcoming Third Street Gallery exhibition “Working Drawings” featuring works by artist George Wray, University of Idaho College of Art + Architecture professor emeritus. Wray taught painting and drawing to university art students for over 30 years, and his own work has included sculpture, neon, installation, and drawing. He has a particular enthusiasm for drawing outdoors. The exhibition begins August 8 and runs through September 30. The public is invited to the artist reception at Moscow City Hall, on Wednesday, September 18 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm, with refreshments and no-host bar provided by Bloom. The evening will feature an artist discussion panel “Inhabiting the Creative Process” beginning at 6:00pm. Third Street Gallery is located on the second and third floors of Moscow City Hall at 206 E. Third St. in Moscow, ID. Gallery hours are Monday through Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm. The Gallery will be closed Monday, September 2 in observance of Labor Day.
