“Wood & Word” Reception at the Third Street Gallery

Enjoy an evening of woodworking and poetry with the Third Street Gallery’s reception for “Wood & Word” on Wednesday, October 30 from 5:00pm-7:00pm. The event will begin with a viewing in the gallery starting at 5:00pm followed by poetry readings beginning at 5:30pm. The reception is open to the public free of charge and will feature a no-host bar and refreshments. “Wood & Word” is a portrait of two communities entwined, as poets and woodworkers embark on collaborative explorations. Both media have utilitarian purposes, but this exhibition invites the viewer to step over the boundary of practical function, to experience the world by way of feeling. Third Street Gallery is located on the second and third floors of Moscow City Hall at 206 E. Third St. in Moscow, ID. Gallery hours are Monday through Friday 8:00am- 5:00pm.
