Winter Solstice Yin Workshop!
with Caity Placek
Winter is considered to be a naturally “Yin” time of year: it is passive, cool, slow, and quiet. So, it goes without saying that Winter Solstice is the most yin time of the year! Join Caity on Dec. 21st- the first day of winter (yay!)- for a gentle & juicy Yin Yoga workshop! We will conserve our energy by going inside and allowing time and our breaths to take us deeper into poses.
In Yin Yoga, poses are held longer (2-7 minutes). The aim is to access deeper tissues in our bodies that cannot be reached with heat and repetitive movements that you may experience in a regular yoga class. A Yin practice involves nothing more than going inside, holding poses that increase flexibility, and noticing what happens when we do.
Saturday, December 21st 1:00 - 3:30pm
$25 or Double Punch on a 5 or 10 class pass
