Event Description:
Wild Women Winter Art Series - 16 sessions, 16 different topics, on Sunday afternoons from January 3 through April 24. If you have a family that is glued to the TV watching Sunday afternoon sports, this is your chance to break free for a few hours and do something new and creative! Come experiment with a new medium! Bring a friend and have a great time.
Etching on glass: Participants will have fun learning to etch on glass when they take this class. In the process they will use a pre-cut pattern and also create unique patterns of their own to use. A drinking glass, a beveled glass to hang in a window and one other piece will be completed in class.
Materials fee: $5. Please plan to pay the instructor the day of the class.
Students should dress to make a mess. :-)
Instructor: Nancy Attebury loves creating acrylic and oil paintings and also does wood craft and glass etching. In addition, she is an author of 16 children's books. She enjoys teaching various art forms and writing techniques to children and adults.
