Habitat for Humanity is a non-profit organization whose mission is serve neighbors in need by helping to eliminate poverty housing on the Palouse and worldwide. Partner families put in between 300 and 500 volunteer hours building their homes, but volunteers are the backbone of Habitat for Humanity, and it is through their dedication that each house gets built. There are individual volunteers, faith groups, businesses and civic groups who work under professional supervision alongside Habitat families to build homes.
Funding for this event will build Habitat’s thirteenth home on the Palouse in Albion WA. The Beans n Jeans dinner and auction features a BBQ dinner provided by CD’s Smoke Pit, a live and silent auction and live music by local bluegrass band Forgotten Freight.
