The City of Moscow Historic Preservation Commission will host its annual Orchid Awards on Wednesday, Nov. 6, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the 1912 Center.
This free, family-friendly event begins at 5 p.m. with a no-host dinner and bar provided by Patty’s Mexican Restaurant.
In addition to the awards, Stephanie Clarkson, a project architect at the University of Idaho, will give a 15-20 minute presentation titled “Idaho Modern,” which highlights her research in preservation and her passion regarding mid-century modern work.
Every year since 1991, the Historic Preservation Commission has award individuals, groups and businesses for their work in historic preservation.
