Event Description:
The 25th annual National Lentil Festival, presented by the Pullman Chamber of Commerce, City of Pullman and Washington State University, will be held Friday and Saturday, August 16-17, 2013 in Pullman, Washington.  The National Lentil Festival draws people from all over the country to enjoy fun activities and a diverse assortment of lentil culinary delights. Admission is free!

The festival kicks off Friday evening with free lentil chili for everyone, live music, local microbrew beer garden, games and activities for the whole family, and a great selection of food, arts and crafts, and information booths.  Live music will be playing from 2 different stages and features Electric Approach on the Hometown Chevrolet Main Stage.

Saturday starts off with the Tase T. Lentil 5K Fun Run sponsored by Anytime Fitness, the Lentil Pancake Breakfast sponsored by Chase Bank, and the Jess Ford Grand Parade through the middle of downtown Pullman. In Reaney Park, festival-goers can stroll through the Lentil Lane Food while listening to live music and watch magician Jeff Evans on the HitRadio 104.3 stage. The Lentil Festival Marketplace and beer and wine garden will also be open to peruse while enjoying great live entertainment featuring country music sensation, Casey James, on the Hometown Chevrolet Main Stage.
