Moscow Mardi Gras Inc., which is an organization dedicated to supporting youth groups in the Palouse, is planning its annual Moscow Mardi Gras event for March 1, 2014. As in the past the success of our event has largely been due to the participation and support of downtown Moscow businesses. We would like your input to make this coming year’s event the most successful ever.
We are inviting owners/managers of businesses in the downtown area to a meeting Sunday, Sept. 15 at 2:00 p.m. to discuss the plans for the parade and daytime activities on Main Street. We will meet upstairs at Moscow Moose Lodge at 210 N. Main St.
This year we would like to bring back one of the signature events—the parade, as well as move the Kid’s Mardi Gras to a more centralized location next to the daytime performances at the Kenworthy.
