In honor of International Firefighter’s Day (May 4), Public Service Recognition Week (May 6-10), National Police Week (May 12-18) and National EMS Week (May 19-24), the Mayor’s Youth Advisory Council (MYAC) is taking a moment to say thank you to the Moscow Volunteer Fire Department, Moscow Police Department, and other first responders.
Students on the advisory council will host a free thank-you brunch to first responders from 10:00am to 11:30am on Saturday, May 18 in the Council Chambers at Moscow City Hall. Representatives from the Fire and Police Department will share their stories and experiences on what it means to be a first responder and serve our community.
This event is free and open to the public. Students are encouraged to attend.

The Thank You brunch features contributions and donations from the Kitchen Counter, Moscow Food Co-op, Rosauer’s, Safeway, and Walmart.
