BookPeople of Moscow welcomes author Mary Clearman Blew of Moscow, Idaho at 7 p.m., Thursday, September 12. Blew will read from her newest novel “Sweep Out the Ashes.” Books will be available for sale and signing.
Mary Clearman Blew is the author or editor of numerous fiction and nonfiction books, including the novels “Sweep Out the Ashes,” “Ruby Dreams of Janis Joplin” and “Jackalope Dreams”; and the memoir “This Is Not the Ivy League.” She has professor emerita of English at the University of Idaho and has won numerous awards, including the Western Literature Association's Distinguished Achievement Award
