Event Description:
Homecoming is one of our institutions longest running traditions, with 2018 marking its 110th year. It is a time when we come together as a community to celebrate being Vandals. The week-long festivities feature student competitions, campus office competition, faculty and staff alumni recognition, homecoming royalty selection, community service, downtown decorating, bonfire rally, parade, and athletics games. The heart of the celebration is driven by the beat of our Vandal Marching Band which expresses our passion for the U of I experience.
