Aspiring gardeners are invited to the Genesee Community Library for the latest in Genesee’s Gardening Series: Composting for Soil Health, presented by University of Idaho Extension Educator Iris Mayes on Wednesday, October 23 at 5:30pm. Attendees will learn about outdoor composting, and vermicomposting (composting with worms). Research-based Extension materials on composting will be provided. Participants can take home worms to start their own projects.
Registration is not required. This free and fascinating library program is open to the public.
