Event Description:
The Moscow School District and the City of Moscow are working in partnership to develop the District owned property located adjacent to Joseph Street and Mountain View Road into a high quality athletic field complex to serve the community. A community open house has been scheduled to invite local participation, answer questions, and gather input or November 21, 2013 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Latah County Fairgrounds Exhibition Building, 1021 Harold Street. This open house is free and open to the public.
The Moscow School District and City of Moscow look forward to completing this project and are working on design and construction planning for the play fields. This project began in 1998 when the District and City jointly funded a master planning effort for the site which was followed by the joint construction of one of the five proposed play fields, a portion of the parking facilities, and associated street improvements.
