Event Description:
BookPeople will host a 40th Anniversary Party from 5 - 8 p.m. during this month's First Thursday to celebrate four decades of support from the community in downtown Moscow.
Light refreshments will be served, catered by PRLR. Beer and wine will be available for purchase. Party goers will also be invited to participate in video interviews with Marsha Que Sera Productions from 5 – 7 p.m. The Speakeasy Photo Booth will be available for guests to have commemorative photos taken, with a portion of the proceeds benefiting BookPeople’s Christmas for Kids “Giving Tree.”
During the celebration there will be a memory book to sign, and a special video available to view of Bookpeople founder and special guest Ivar Nelson. BookPeople memorabilia will be on display courtesy of Nelson, who opened BookPeople of Moscow on November 19, 1973 at 512 S. Main Street, in the space between the movie theatres.
Entries for the BookPeople of Moscow LEGO contest are being accepted until November 3rd. See the Event page for BookPeople's Month Long Celebration for more details. Winners will be announced and prizes awarded at 5 p.m. at the beginning of the anniversary party. Entries will be on display in the store throughout the holiday season.

7 – 8 p.m. Live music with local musicians, featuring BookPeople staff member Nick Brunsfeld
