Renowned author and Washington State University alumnus Sherman Alexie will visit his alma mater for a presentation on April 4. The New Yorker magazine named Alexie one of the top 20 writers for the 21st century. He grew up on the Spokane Indian Reservation and is an author, poet, screenwriter and part-time comedian.
